Freshman middle blocker and outside hitter Kevin Poku along with sophomore outside hitter Alex Serrano, and sophomore middle blocker Kyle Young were selected 1st team All-OEC. Teammate Garrett Geiger, a freshman outside hitter, along with freshman setter Brain Marquez were selected 2nd team ALL-OEC.
The #5 seed Fullerton College men's volleyball team ended their season last Friday in the State Semi-Finals falling to #4 L.A. Pierce College in three sets.
After a very slow start to a double-header on Friday falling to Santa Monica College 3-0, the FC men's volleyball team awoke beating Moorpark College 3-1.

It was quite a season for the start-up Hornets as the team had four players selected to the 2017 All-Orange Empire Conference team last week, including head coach Eddie Rapp who was tabbed as the OEC Coach of the Year.
In their inaugural season, the Hornets played in their first ever playoff game last Friday at Long Beach City College. Coming in as the #6 seed against the #3 Vikings, Fullerton lost 3-0 (9-25, 20-25, 21-25).
The Hornets may have lost to Irvine Valley College on the road last Friday 3-1, however they still qualified for the playoffs in their inaugural season.
The FC men's volleyball team welcomed OEC rival Golden West College to the Hornets Nest for a Saint Patrick's Day match-up. Fullerton had a green light against a tough Rustler squad beating them in three straight games.
The Hornets traveled to Santiago Canyon College to take on the Hawks to open Orange Empire Conference-play. Fullerton made quick work of SCC winning 3-0.
Fullerton College will host Men's Volleyball with its inaugural season set for Spring 2017. Men's volleyball will be a competing member of the CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association). TRAINING BEGINS SUMMER & FALL of 2016.
