The Hornets (13-7 overall, 9-3 Northern Division) controlled the match from start to finish winning 25-18, 25-22, and 25-18. Meanwhile, El Camino falls to 5-15 overall and 2-10 in division play.
Fullerton's offense was on point finishing with a total of 41 kills. The Hornets were particularly sharp in the opening and closing sets, hitting .385 in set one and .400 in the third to keep the Warriors on their heels.
Samuel Chavez delivered a match-high 12 kills while adding 4 digs and 2 blocks. Jasper Nadelson followed with 9 kills and 4 blocks, providing a strong presence at the net on both sides of the ball. Seth Asaoka chipped in 7 kills while hitting.429 with 7 digs, and Curtis Lee added 6 kills and 6 digs. Yun Bae dished out 17 assists, while Emiliano Razo added 13 assists to keep the attack flowing.
Defensively, the Hornets were steady with a total of 44 digs with Saman Bagheri leading the way with 12.
The Hornets also tallied 11 service aces helping swing momentum in key stretches.
