For the fifth consecutive season, the Fullerton College men's basketball team has earned the No. 1 seed in the Southern Region as the 3C2A Playoffs get set to tip off.
Under the leadership of head coach Perry Webster, the Hornets have put together an impressive 27-1 overall record securing their fifth straight No. 1 regional seed dating back to the 2021-22 season.
With a first-round bye, Fullerton will open postseason play against No. 16 Palomar College (19-10 overall). The Comets advanced after edging No. 17 Bakersfield College 92-89 in overtime on Wednesday night.
The Hornets and Comets met earlier this season on November 29th when Fullerton delivered a convincing 79-57 road victory.
Up Next: No. 1 Fullerton (27-1 overall) will host No. 16 Palomar College in round two of the 3C2A Southern California Regionals this Saturday, February 28th. Tipoff is set for 5:00 pm.
