The FC women’s volleyball team made the playoffs and four players were recently showered with awards.
In a needed Orange Empire Conference game, the Hornets pulled off a 3-2 victory at Golden West College on Friday led by FC sophomore Saylor Frew, who was named the 2019 CCCWVCA State Athlete of the Week.
The Hornet volleyball team took the court for what would be their final home game of the season on Wednesday evening as they set to face off against Saddleback College.
The Fullerton Hornets took on the Cypress Chargers on Wednesday evening. FC entered the match 8-3 in conference play with Cypress sitting right behind them at 7-4.
Fullerton took care of business at home Friday night sweeping past Santiago Canyon College 3-0.

The Lady Hornets had a great night at home on Friday sweeping Santa Monica College in three sets. Putting it together with a group of mostly new talent, it was the second consecutive win for FC this season.
The Hornet women’s volleyball team traveled to Mt. San Antonio College on Wednesday evening for their sixth match of the season. In just three sets, the Hornets walked away with their third match win of 2019, bringing them back to .500 with a 3-3 record.
The FC women’s volleyball squad beat L.A. Harbor 3-0 (25-11, 26-24, 27-25) on Friday and then lost in a dog-fight at home Saturday 3-2 (26-24, 19-25, 20-25, 25-22, 15-12) against El Camino College.
