ROAD DRAW AT SANTIAGO CANYON

In a hard-fought Orange Empire Conference matchup, the FC men's soccer team battled host Santiago Canyon to a 0–0 draw on Tuesday afternoon.

Despite generating numerous scoring chances, the Hornets couldn't find the back of the net but showed resilience and control throughout the match. Fullerton displayed strong possession play and defensive discipline that held Santiago Canyon to minimal offensive chances. The tie moves Fullerton's record to 2-4-4 overall and 1-0-2 in conference play. The Hawks are now 2-4-4 overall and 1-1-1 in the OEC.

Fullerton's offense stayed active from the opening whistle, outshooting Santiago Canyon 20–4, with 13 shots on goal compared to just two for the Hawks. Sophomore Jacob Leggette led the attack with 3 shots on goal, while Josiahs Palacios, Oscar Feria, and Michael Espinoza each added strong attempts to keep the Hawks' defense on its heels.

In goal, Steven Martinez anchored the Hornet defense with 2 big saves to secure the shutout.

The match saw its intense and physical with multiple yellow cards issued to both sides and a late red card to SCC.

Fullerton will look to carry its defensive momentum into the next Orange Empire Conference matchup as the Hornets continue to climb the standings.
