Fullerton came into the game ranked No. 3 in the state and now, with the win, boasts an 8-1 overall record. The Miramar loss bumps the team to 4-4 overall.
Down by seven points by the halftime break, the Hornets forced their way pasts the Jets in the second half to pull off the win.
Brayden Smith was the team scoring leader with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Donovan Pitts pumped in 15 with 4 rebounds. Yoda Oke played a big role in the win as well with 11 points of his own.
Up Next: The No. 3 Hornets (8-1 overall) will not play again until December 12-13 when they host the 39th Fullerton College Classic. On Friday December 12th, Fullerton welcomes No. 19 San Diego City College in the Nest at 6:00 pm. Then on Saturday December 13th, FC will host No. 7 West LA College at 5:00 pm.
