Bio
Newman is back in the fold at Fullerton after an injury-shortened freshman season. The 6-foot-1 point guard played in seven games last season with averages of 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and three assists per game. Newman was a standout prep player at Culver City high school where he was the Ocean League MVP as a senior and a McDonald’s All-American Game nominee. Sean averaged 25 points, five rebounds and four assists per game for the Centaurs. Newman says his favorite sports memory was being coached by his dad growing up. Newman plans to major in Business at Fullerton College and chose to become a Hornet because he believes coach Perry Webster will push him to become a better person, player and student. Newman enjoys spending time with friends and family in his down time.
