Leading the charge for the Hornets was Brittany Rodriguez, who continues to establish herself among the region's top runners. Rodriguez paced herself smartly and cruised to another personal record with a 20:20 to finish for 30th overall and 7th among Orange Empire Conference competitors.
Teammates Marylyn Glumace and Jaelyn Glumace also turned in good efforts as both athletes earned personal bests. while showing great composure and teamwork throughout the course. Marylyn posted a time of 25:27 (145th place), while Jaelyn crossed the line at 26:18 (154th place).
Fullerton head coach Gina Bevec praised the group for their discipline and steady improvement as the season progresses. "I'm very happy with the progress of the team. We're getting better and working hard each day preparing for the big races that are coming near the end of the season."
The Hornets continue to build momentum heading into the next meet with confidence growing across the roster.
