Two FC runners qualified for the State Championships in Raquel Aldama and Rebeca Perez.
The Orange Empire Conference Championships were held at the Riverside City Course last Friday, and the lady Hornets finished in fifth place with 127 points.
Freshman Rebeca Perez had a fantastic race at the Mount San Antonio College Invite last Friday running the course two minutes faster than she did when she was in high school with a time of 20:31. She placed 15th overall out of 92 total runners.
At the Brubaker Invitational in Irvine Park last Friday, the Lady Hornets competed well placing 10th overall.
In their third competition of the year, the Hornets ran hard at the Golden West Central Park Classic.
The Lady Hornets finished in 15th place with 377 points at Don Knabe Regional Park in Cerritos last Friday.
The Lady Hornets got the 2018 season going at the Palomar Invitational in Oceanside placing seventh place with 150 points.
