4 FC PLAYERS NET ALL-OEC HONORS
The Hornet women’s water polo team had four players recognized by the Orange Empire Conference coaches as the All-OEC selections were made this past week.

Freshman driver McKenna Dunning was the team leader in scoring this season earning First Team All-OEC after scoring 81 goals. Despite missing the end of the season due to injury, Dunning was still 6th overall in scoring in the conference. She added 26 assists, 50 steals, and 6 blocks quickly establishing herself as one of the OEC's most promising young talents.
Joining Dunning on the All-OEC list is freshman goalie Sienna Bertsch, who claimed Second Team All-OEC honors. Bertsch was a steady anchor in the cage with 230 saves across 32 games, while helping guide Fullerton to 16 wins.
Fullerton also had two Honorable Mention selections in sophomores Isabella Castaneda and Eliana Fernandez.
Castaneda capped off her Hornet career as a true workhorse playing in all 32 games. She scored 54 goals, had 20 assists, and 27 steals.
Fernandez played in every game as well contributing 46 goals, 45 assists, 54 steals, and 5 blocks showcasing her versatility and value on both ends of the pool.
With two freshmen already earning conference honors, FC's foundation is strong heading into next season setting the stage for even bigger accomplishments in 2026 under head coach Gabriel Martinez.
