The Orange Empire Conference (OEC) athletic directors, sports information directors and administrators voted on the top 10 moments of 2020 with FC women's water polo claiming the top spot and men's soccer No. 5.
The accolades keep coming as the state champion Hornets had 4 players make the All-America team.
The Fullerton College Hornets wrapped up the 2019 season on Saturday taking the CCCAA State title in grand fashion defeating Orange Empire Conference rival Riverside City College 7-6.
On Friday afternoon, the No. 1 (South) Lady Hornets knocked off No. 2 (North) Sierra College 8-3 to advance to the 2019 CCCAA State Championship game.
The Fullerton Hornets collected honors all around after finishing the season as Orange Empire Conference Champions. 6 Hornets were named to OEC’s All-Conference teams, led by MVP Bryanna Santis.
For the second consecutive season, the Hornets won the Orange Empire Conference title after defeating Riverside City College 10-9 on Saturday at the OEC Tournament hosted by Golden West College.
The No. 1 team in the state, FC proved why they are in the top spot winning the Battle at the Beach Tournament hosted by Long Beach City College.
Hornet women's water polo standout Bryanna Santis turned in outstanding performances during the month of September and was rewarded for her efforts by being named the California Community College Sports Information Association Athlete of the Month.
The No. 2 Lady Hornets staked their claim to be the best in the state over the weekend defeating all four the colleges they faced at the Cuesta College Invitational.
The Hornets won their second tournament of the season over the weekend sweeping through all four of their opponents at the Mount San Antonio College tourney.
After a tough conference loss at the hands of Riverside City last week, the FC women's water polo team showed off some offensive fire power at home against Cypress College on Wednesday beating the Chargers 18-4.
The Lady Hornets came out firing to begin the season at the Saddleback Tournament winning all four of their games to take the tourney.
