Andrea Mendez and Brianna Arroyo have accepted athletic scholarships to run track at Mid America Nazarene University this Spring.
The two sophomore runners will follow former Hornet Brandon Velasco (2013-14) who recently led the Pioneers in their first Cross Country season in seven years.
Mendez and Arroyo will compete for MNU starting mid January, which will be MNU's first indoor track season in seven years.
Mendez and Arroyo will reconnect with former Hornet track coach Wade Watkins, who is now the Associate Head Coach for MNU.
