W. TRACK & FIELD: STATE QUALIFIERS

The FC women's track & field team will be sending three on to the State Championships!

Performing well at the SoCal Track and Field Championships at Riverside City College this past weekend, Rebecca De Iorio and Daisy Esparza qualified to compete at the State Championships at Mount San Antonio College May 16-17.

De Iorio qualified in Javelin with a throw of 118' 5" landing her a 5th place spot.

Esparza qualified in the 5K with a time of 18:31.34 (6th place) and in the 10K as well.

Maegan Garritson qualified for state and will run in the 10K.

Overall, the Lady Hornets finished 19th out of 28 teams at the SoCal Championships.
