WOMEN'S TENNIS: HORNETS ON THE RIGHT PATH

The FC women's tennis team opened up their season with a 6-3 home-win against El Camino College on Thursday.

The #2 doubles FC team of Mayumi Okubo and Kelsi Salazar-Sarti won big 8-0, and the Hornets #3 teams picked up a win due to a forfeit.

In singles-play, the Hornets went down 2-0, but Bree Lovering won her match 6-4, 6-2, and Mayumi Okubo turned the tide in FC's favor winning her matches 6-0, 6-0.

Up Next: The Hornets (1-0 overall) will host Santa Barbara City College today at 2:00 pm.
