The Fullerton College women's lacrosse team had two of its own honored this past week as McKennah Renfro and Autumn Wagner were All-League selections for the Western Women's Lacrosse League.
It was the first time since the program began in 2019 that a FC player was picked for the honor. FC is the only community college playing in the league that consists of four-year institutions, including Pepperdine, Concordia, UC San Diego, Cal Poly SLO, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, Cal State San Marcos, University of San Diego, and Northern Arizona.
A freshman, Renfro earned 2nd team All-WWLL honors while leading the Hornets in scoring with 36 goals in 9 games played. She ended the season as the second best in goals scored in the league. A quick and shifty athlete, McKennah was 5th in the nation in scoring as well.
Freshman Autumn Wagner also earned an All-WWLL selection scoring 10 goals with 8 assists in 9 games. Fast and aggressive, Wagner was also a staunch defender on the field for Fullerton this past season.
Congratulations!
