2021 Hornet Women's Golf News
The FC women's golf team played at Arroyo Trabuco (hosted by Saddleback) on Wednesday for OEC Event No. 7.
The Hornets played at El Prado (hosted by Mt. SAC) on Wednesday with decent results.
The Hornets hosted OEC Event No. 5 on Monday at Coyote Hills and did not disappoint as FC's Chelsey Gutierrez led the field shooting a 78 on the day.
It was a challenging Monday as Fullerton battled the windy conditions, however the Hornets competed well at Singing Hills.
Once again, FC's Chelsey Gutierrez takes the top spot of the day at Menifee Lakes shooting a 75.
The Hornets performed well at the Costa Mesa Country Club on Monday as Chelsey Gutierrez ended the day at 78.
As the sun beat down on the Hornets at Palm Desert's Ironwood Golf Course, Chelsey Gutierrez beat the heat sharing to top score of the day.
On Wednesday, at Soboba Springs Golf Course (par 72), the desert sun pounded relentlessly upon the Fullerton College Women's golf team as the scores rose as quickly as the temperatures and the Hornets found themselves with the highest score in the tournament and placed seventh out of seven team in Orange Empire Conference competition with a combined score of 459 while the tournament winning team, The Gauchos of Saddleback College, roped in an impressive 307.
