Bio
Taylor Lloyd is entering her 3rd year as an Assistant Coach for the Hornets. Taylor played 4 years of varsity basketball at national powerhouse Long Beach Poly Technical High School. Well known as a defensive stopper, she won honors as Defensive Player of the Year, Lady Jackrabbit of the Year and was a member of the team winning a CIF Open Division championship. Taylor was recruited by Pepperdine, Long Beach State, Nevada, Denver, and GCU, however decided not to pursue collegiate basketball.
Taylor has an associate degree in Kinesiology and a bachelor’s degree in Recreation.
Coming from a basketball family, her dad Ramel Lloyd Sr. had a 10-year professional career, and her brother Ramel Lloyd, Jr is currently playing college ball.
