Fullerton took a trip up to Chaffey College Wednesday night and despite a strong effort lost to the Panthers 78-70.
The loss marks the second in a row for FC, who lost a tough one at home last week to Citrus 66-65. The Hornets now have a record of 4-5 overall, while Chaffey rachets up to 6-5 overall.
Hailey Lakey and Erin Choi were the bright spots for the Hornets as Lakey dropped in a game-high 26 points with 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks, while Choi scored 23 points, had 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and an assist. Chloe Chang put up 9 points with 10 rebounds nearly missing a double-double.
Up Next: The Hornets (4-5 overall) will look to get back in the win colum this Friday, December 5th when they travel to Cerritos College for another non-conference matchup. Tipoff is at 5:00 pm.
