After taking some time off this past season, star catcher Serina Vue will suit up for the Coyotes of Cal State San Bernardino.
Vue, a Pleasant Valley High School (Chico) alum, joined Fullerton College in 2023 and quickly proved herself as a lockdown catcher. As a freshman, she played in 44 games, batting .295 with 39 hits, 22 runs, and 18 RBIs, helping lead the Hornets to the Super Regionals. In her sophomore campaign, she appeared in 50 games, hitting .248 with 32 hits, 21 runs, and 14 RBIs. Known for her steady presence and leadership behind the plate, Vue helped guide FC to a state title and an undefeated conference championship (21-0).
At CSUSB, Vue will play under Head Coach Dee Payan, a former Hornet standout herself (2009–10). Competing in the Division II California Collegiate Athletic Association, the Coyotes finished last season 26–27. Serina aims to make an immediate impact, just as she did at Fullerton College.
Congratulations Serina! Best of luck on your new journey!
