Veronica Moore, who has had an impressive softball career at Fullerton College, is headed to the next level after officially signing with Concordia University, Irvine.
Veronica Moore, who has had an impressive softball career at Fullerton College, is headed to the next level after officially signing with Concordia University, Irvine.
A standout from Fountain Valley High School, Moore made an immediate impact during her two-year career with the Hornets, rewriting the record books and collecting back-to-back 1st Team All-Conference honors.
Moore now holds the Fullerton College record for most career RBIs with 91 and is tied for the most RBIs in a single season with 46. She originally broke the career RBI mark of 78 on April 4th against Riverside City College and never looked back, capping off a dominant sophomore season.
Her name is etched across nearly every offensive category for the Hornet softball program. She ranks 2nd all-time in batting average (.431), 2nd in career hits (118), tied for 1st in doubles (31), tied for 4th in home runs (9), 2nd in total bases (186), 2nd in on-base percentage (.500), and 1st in slugging percentage (.679).
For all her hard work and dedication on the field and classroom, Veronica was awarded by the FC Athletics Department as the "Female Athlete of the Year".
In all, Moore helped her team win a state title in 2024 as well as a conference championship (21-0). She leaves FC with an overall record of 63-29 and a conference record of 31-8.
Last season, the Golden Eagles won their third straight PacWest Conference title with an overall record of 41-16. CUI ended its 2025 campaign battling it out in the NCAA DII West Regionals.
