Six Fullerton players earned All-Orange Empire Conference honors this week with sophomore center fielder Jill Saiza being named as the Defensive Player of the Year!

Playing in their final home game of the season, the Hornets took on Orange Coast College on Monday and beat the Pirates 5-2.

The softball Hornets did it again! They won their sixth straight game at home Wednesday afternoon, and this time they knocked off top-ranked OEC rival Santiago Canyon College 7-1.

The Hornets continued to roll on Wednesday beating Santa Ana College 5-1 on the road in a conference match-up.

Fullerton collected their second consecutive conference win this week enforcing another mercy against Golden West College 17-0.

Anabel Mendez was hot at the plate against the Tigers going 3-4 with 2 runs and a RBI.

In a critical Orange Empire Conference match-up, the Hornet offense decided to wake up at Riverside City College on Wednesday scoring in every inning enforcing the mercy rule on the Tigers 11-2.

Former Hornet softballer Brigid Ruiz was a force during her two-years at Fullerton College (2014-2016), and now she's doing it again at Sonoma State being named the California Collegiate Athletic Association's (CCAA) Pitcher of the week for March 6-12.
