After a tough 0-5 start to the season, the Hornets have turned it around winning their last three consecutive games.
On Friday, they knocked off San Diego Miramar 3-2 (18-25, 25-20, 17-25, 25-15, 15-10).
Garrett Geiger led the way with 15 kills and 9 digs. Asontae Lewis-Owens and Miguel Cortez both hammered down 8 kills each. Anthony Popoca was all over the floor with 15 digs, while James Valeanu dished out 41 assists.
Up Next: FC (3-5 overall) will host San Diego Mesa College this Wednesday, February 27th at 6:00 pm.
