The Hornets traveled to Santiago Canyon College to take on the Hawks to open Orange Empire Conference-play. Fullerton made quick work of SCC winning 3-0.
In the three games played, FC (9-4 overall, 1-0 OEC) never fell to the Hawks (2-7, 0-1) behind winning 25-14, 25-9, and 25-14.
Leading the way for Fullerton was Javier Zavala with 12 kills and 3 digs. Kyle Young had 6 kills and 3 block assists. Josh Bowles and Dale Irvin had 5 kills a piece. Irvin also delivered 28 assists.
Up Next: The Hornets (9-4, 1-0) will host Golden West College this Friday, March 17th for another OEC match-up. Game time is at 6:00 pm.
