The Hornet men's track and field team came away with some exciting performances at Orange Empire Conference Championships at Riverside City College over the weekend.
The Hornets seized the day at Golden West College defeated both Golden West and Santa Ana Colleges in a double-duel contest.
The Hornets went to Santa Ana College for a meet against Santa Ana and Orange Coast College and had several good performances as they handily beat Santa Ana.
The Hornets first meet of the season took place at Bakersfield College last Friday, and it was a challenge as rainfall plagued the entire meet.
