The Hornets set the tone early in doubles sweeping all three matches to grab the momentum. Matt Doria and Allen Sim were sharp from the opening serve taking their match 8-1. The duo of Samora Wa Azaro and Jolhan-Pierre Noiroux followed with another convincing 8-1 win. Ben Koker teamed with Kevin Nguyen to close out doubles-play with a 8-0 sweep.
That energy carried straight into singles for the Hornets as Matt Doria opened singles play with a strong 6-0, 6-2 win, and Samora Wa Azaro battled through a tough match to secure another point for Fullerton beating his opponent 7-6-7, 6-0. Jolhan-Pierre Noiroux showed resilience in a tight match before falling 6-7, 6-1, 4-10. Ben Koker (6-0, 6-0) and Layden Stimmel (6-0, 6-0) both turned in efficient performances winning in straight sets.
Kevin Nguyen capped off the singles slate with a 6-1, 6-2 victory pushing Fullerton's tally to eight total points on the day.
