The FC men's tennis team took to the courts at El Camino College Tuesday afternoon blanking the Warriors 9-0.
The FC men's tennis team took to the courts at El Camino College Tuesday afternoon blanking the Warriors 9-0.
FC swept in doubles-play with wins by Jindra Kosa/Sergio Lee-Gutierrez (8-2), Rodrigo Onate/Thiago Manzano (8-6), and Louis St. Clair/Austin Kang (8-4).
In singles, Jindra Kosa took his match 6-2, 6-3, as did Rodrigo Onate 2-6, 6-2, 10-4. Sergio Lee-Gutierrez won 6-3, 6-1, and Louis St. Clair beat his opponent 6-2, 6-3. Down 0-6 during the first set, Thiago Manzano then came back to win it 6-4. He went on to win the tie-breaking second set 10-6 clinching the match for Fullerton. Charles Kirk wrapped it up with a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Up Next: The Hornets will host two teams in San Diego Mesa (10:00 am) and Imperial Valley (2:00 pm) this Friday, February 15th.
