The No. 1 Hornets remained undefeated in Orange Empire Conference-play at home Friday night defeating Saddleback 2-1.
FC took a 1-0 lead late in the first half on an unassisted shot by Angel Sevillano (42nd minute).
Saddleback tied the game up with an early second-half goal by Kevin Sanchez.
As both teams battled it out relying on their strong defensive units, the Hornets broke through with a goal 75th minute on a shot by Nathan Giles. Diego Duenas was credited with the assist.
Fullerton goal-keeper Mario Floriano had 1 save and 1 goal against in 90 minutes.
