The No. 3 seeded Hornets got the job done against No. 19 Cuyamaca College at home Saturday afternoon ending the Coyote's season 2-1 in Round 2 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs.
Misael Gonzalez not only helped lead his Hornets to the 2022 Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer title, the freshman forward out of Fullerton High was also named the conference’s Most Valuable Player, as voted on by the conference’s head coaches at their postseason meeting.
The Hornets did what they had to do on Friday and defeated Golden West 2-1 in order to hang on to first place in what is a tight race in the Orange Empire Conference standings.
The Hornet men's soccer team maintained its first-place slot in the Orange Empire Conference on Tuesday beating Santiago Canyon College 3-1 at home.
In a make-up game, the Hornets took a trip to Orange Coast College on Monday and won 5-0.
The FC men's soccer team traveled down to Huntington Beach on Tuesday for an Orange Empire Conference match against Golden West College and blanked the Rustlers 2-0.
The Hornets have had some trouble scoring goals in critical game situations this season, but on Friday they tossed that monkey from their back beating Santiago Canyon College 7-1.
The FC men's soccer squad is riding a 3-game win streak after bringing down the Rams of Fresno City College 1-0 on Tuesday.
After a 1-3 start to the season, the FC men's soccer team got back in the win column on Thursday up north with a 2-1 win against Cañada College.
