THE HORNETS OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Justin Davis and Darvelle Wyatt made it official over the weekend signing with Hope International University.

Voted as the Orange Empire Conference Defensive Player of the Year this past season, Justin Davis played a key role the Hornet's fourth straight conference championship. Playing in two seasons for FC, Davis totaled 78 steals, 225 rebounds, 215 assists, while scoring 340 points.

An All-Conference transfer from Corban University, Darvelle Wyatt made an immediate impact on the Hornets this season averaging 6.5 points with 4.8 rebounds a game. His toughness on the court and ability to score those tough second chance points helped land the Hornets in the 3C2A State Title game. He earned 2nd Team All-Orange Empire Conference honors for his strong play this season.

The HIU Royals will be getting two gifted Fullerton College players that will work extremely hard in the classroom and court. Last season, the Royals had an impressive 22-8 overall record while qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament in Mishawaka, Indiana. Davis and Wyatt will be difference makers for Hope next season.
