Last Saturday night, No. 9 seeded Mt. San Jacinto College stunned No. 7 Moorpark College 94-86 setting up Round 3 of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals between the Eagles and No. 1 Hornets.

The No. 1 seeded Hornets did what was needed in Round 2 of the SoCal Regionals against No. 16 Cerritos Saturday night earning a 79-67 victory over the Falcons.

On Wednesday night, the No. 16 seeded Cerritos College got past No. 17 MiraCosta College 70-67, which now opens the door for No. 1 Fullerton to host the Falcons for round 2 of the SoCal Regionals this Saturday night.

The Fullerton College Hornets have claimed the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) title for the third-consecutive season and the fifth in the past eight seasons. Freshman guard Christian Watson highlighted the all-conference honorees by hauling in the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

In the final regular season game of 2024, the No. 2 in state Hornets hosted Orange Empire Conference rival Riverside City College on Wednesday night and outlasted the Tigers 66-53.
