Bio

Banks was a four-year varsity player in high school where he played his first three seasons at Bakersfield and his final season at Cathedral in Los Angeles. Banks averaged 12 points, five assists and four rebounds per game during his prep career. RJ helped his high school programs win multiple league championships and reach the CIF postseason in all four of his high school seasons, including a trip to the Central Section Division I championship game in 2017 and appearance in the State Playoffs. Banks says he chose to attend Fullerton College because of the relationship he has with coach Perry Webster and lists his favorite sports memory as traveling the country with his adidas sponsored AAU team, Gamepoint. Banks plans on majoring in Sociology and enjoys hanging out with friends and family when not playing basketball and focusing on school work.
