FULLERTON DEFENSE HIT HARD BY THE GAUCHOS: Saturday the 13th was an unlucky day for the Fullerton College Hornets as their defense allowed the Gauchos to run up 608 yards of total offense losing at home 44-29.
The game began as a back-and-forth shootout until the second half when the Gauchos continued to roll offensively.
Hornet place kicker Jesse Aguilar tied a FC school record for field goals in a game with 5 (27, 45, 25, 35, 39). The record is now shared with Scott Szeredy from the 1991 game against Riverside College.
Up Next: The Hornets will host Palomar College on Saturday, October 20th at Fullerton Municipal Stadium. Kickoff is at 6:00 pm.
