THREE HORNETS MOVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL
The FC baseball program is sending three ballers to the next level with Hunter Billingsley, Will Valenzuela, and Landen Pulsifer signing deals over the weekend.
Sophomore first baseman Hunter Billingsley will continue his academic and athletic career at Wilmington University in Delaware, right-handed pitcher Will Valenzuela has committed to Cal State Los Angeles, and left-handed pitcher Landen Pulsifer will head to the University of Redlands.
Billingsley played in 44 games during the 2026 season. The left-handed hitter collected 18 hits, had three doubles, one triple and one home run while driving in 12 runs. He also came in clutch for the Hornets this past season on the mound making 5 appearances tossing 7.2 innings. His versatility and work ethic earned him the opportunity to continue competing for Wilmington.
Valenzuela helped anchored the Hornet's starting rotation throughout the season. He made 18 appearances, had 15 starts, logging 67.2 innings while striking out 34 batters. The sophomore earned 4 victories playing in one of the toughest conferences in the country before signing with Cal State LA.
Pulsifer developed into a dependable arm out of the FC bullpen during his sophomore campaign. He appeared in 18 games, posting a perfect 3-0 record over 28.1 innings while recording 26 strikeouts. His ability to provide quality innings in relief made him an important piece of the Hornets' pitching staff and paved the way for his move to the University of Redlands.
As they begin the next chapter of their baseball careers, Billingsley, Valenzuela and Pulsifer leave Fullerton College after helping the team reach the Southern California Regional Finals.
Congratulations Hunter, Will, and Landen!
Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet!
