VALENT COMMITS TO MILLERSVILLE

Freshman pitcher Christian Valent is taking his talents to the next level after committing to the Millersville University Marauders.

Valent, a right-hander out of Wilson High in Reading Pennsylvania, made 17 appearances on the mound for the Hornets last season. In 16.2 innings he recorded 21 strikeouts, showing flashes of dominance out of the bullpen. With his strong frame and competitive edge, Valent became a reliable arm for the Hornets throughout the year.

Though he is just beginning his college baseball journey, Valent's commitment to Millersville marks an exciting step forward. The Marauders, an NCAA Division II powerhouse in Pennsylvania, gain a durable and developing pitcher with the tools to make an impact in the PSAC conference.

With his freshman season now complete at Fullerton, Valent will bring his talent and competitive drive across the country, ready to make his mark with the Marauders.
