BASEBALL: ROJAS BECOMES A LION

Baseball: SS Jose Rojas accepted a scholarship from Vanguard University today!

A two year starter, Rojas helped lead the Hornets to the state championship his freshman year batting .310, with 17 runs, 21 RBI, 45 hits, and 2 stolen bases. This past season Rojas batted .305 with 13 runs, 18 RBI, and 39 hits.

"Always a hard worker, Jose is a fine baseball player that has a solid glove and bat. I'm sure that the coaching staff at Vanguard will be pleased with him as a player and as a student", Head Coach Nick Fuscardo.
