Bio
Longtime volleyball coach Ed Rapp has been the head coach for three sports at Fullerton College- women's indoor, women's beach, and men's indoor. Hired in 2000 as a full-time intructor and head women's volleyball coach, Rapp played a key role in bringing the FC women's beach volleyball program on campus in 2015 as well as the indoor men's program in 2016.

Rapp played an integral role in bringing the Hornet men's program on campus in 2016. In the team's inaugural season in 2017, Rapp led the Hornets to a 12-9 overall record and to a playoff berth (the CCCAA Quarter-Finals). 

From 2000-2016, Rapp was the head coach of the Hornet women's volleyball program where he guided Fullerton to the postseason 14 times.

Prior to Fullerton College, Rapp was the Head Coach at Santa Margarita, where he created a powerhouse guiding the boys and girls volleyball teams to six CIF Titles, three state title appearances and 1 State Championship. Between the two programs, Rapp had a winning percentage of .801

His volleyball playing career started at Edison High School, where he was a two-time All-Sunset League setter, a 1986 All-CIF selection, and a CIF finalist.

Playing two years at Golden West College, earning All-State honors twice as a setter. Rapp played volleyball and earned his bachelor's degree in Health Science at San Diego State.

Rapp received his master's in Education from Azusa Pacific University and is a full-time professor in the PE division at FC. Rapp's curriculum includes courses in Outrigger Canoeing, Sport Psychology, Lifeguard Training, and Techniques/Principles of Coaching.
