It didn't take long for the Fullerton offense to get on the scoreboard. In the first two innings the Hornets made their move. In the bottom of the 1st PJ Gordon scored. Not to be outshined Ryan Penalbe homered to left field in the 2nd inning allowing Justin Baile and Josh McIntyre to cross the plate.

At the top of the 4th Pierce's Brandon Lewis scored off of Branden Lava single to left center. The Hornets responded at the bottom of the 6th with a single to center field from Monte Monten. Thus, allowing Gavin Folsom to score.

At the bottom of the 8th Fullerton's offense caught fire once again. Monte Montenegro doubled down the left line, Ryan Stephens scored. PJ Gordon singled up the middle, scoring Montenegro. As Thomas Delgadillo advanced to 3rd base PJ Gordon scored on a wild pitch bringing the score up to 8-1. However, the Hornets were not done. Dylan Voelker singled to left field allowing Delgadillo to score and bring the final score to 9-1. Overall it was a strong performance form the Hornets.

Starting pitcher Sean Henry (2-1) put in 5 innings of work for his second win of the season. He had only one earned run against with 4 strikeouts. Gerardo Ramirez came in to throw 4 innings allowing only 3 hits, no runs, and had 3 K's.
